Brian BechardBrian Bechard,
President & CEO

 

Brian joined Trexel in 2015 as the President and CEO. Prior to his position at Trexel, he held senior positions at Synventive Molding Solutions, a leading hot runner supplier to the global automotive industry, since 2008 where he was Vice President - Operations, Vice President and General Manager of North America, and Vice President and General Manager of Europe living in Germany. 

Prior to joining Synventive, Brian held senior manufacturing positions at Avery Dennison, where he ran an injection molding and extrusion plant. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and Harvard Business School.


Steve BraigPetr Janik,

of Finance & Operations

 

Petr joined Trexel in 2006 and has progressively assumed and consolidated the leadership responsibilities of the operations and finance groups. Prior to joining Trexel he has worked as a Program Manager at a Magna division, Decoma, a leading Tier I in the automotive industry. While at Decoma, he assumed the responsibility of simultaneous product management for two vehicle bumper systems from concept to prototype to customer approved production at Mercedes Benz, in a fast paced green field environment. Before his program management role at Decoma, he led entrepreneurial product design and development activities for a Tier I automotive supplier in Europe. Petr holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

     

Steve BraigLevi Kishbaugh,
Vice President Engineering

 

Levi has been at Trexel since 1999, starting as the Director of Process Development for injection molding technology. As the Vice President of Engineering he now has full responsibility for all technical activities within the company. His areas of expertise include the MuCell process, injection molding, materials and application development. He speaks at numerous technical conferences and leads the company’s online training webinars. Prior to Trexel, Levi worked in product and application development roles at Montell Polyolefins and The Dow Chemical Company. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.

     

Steve BraigSam Dix,
Director of R&D

 

Sam is responsible for new product development and implementation over the longer term. He previously worked with MuCell Extrusion LLC for 9 years as a senior engineer and expert on processes in extrusion foaming including; sheet, film, profile and blow molding with numerous commercial applications, products and IP to his name. There he had a track record in different geographic locations of managing large project involving; retrofitting equipment, developing and installing the process, developing materials, training customers and reaching commercial product launch. Prior to this role Sam worked for Zotefoams developing high performance batch foams and before that, was at Rapra Technology doing a PhD in “Supercritical assisted polymer processing” with Brunel University. He also received a BEng degree from Brunel University in London.

     

Roger ChengRoger Cheng
General Manager
Trexel Shenzhen Technology Company Limited

 

Roger joined Trexel as the Asia Technical Support Manager in 2008 and was appointed General Manager of Trexel (Shenzhen) Technology Company Limited in 2012.  This new subsidiary was formed to specifically support Trexel’s operations in the Chinese market with a processing/engineering team, sales support personnel, technical & repair services as well as spare parts logistics.  Prior to joining Trexel, he had over 15 years of diversified experience in tooling, plastic molding process and various functions related to manufacturing engineering and factory management. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic with a BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 

     

Yasuhide SunamuraAnthony Kwok,
Managing Director, Asia Trexel Hong Kong Limited

 

Anthony has 20 years of progressive management experience in the Asian injection molding industry. Prior to joining Trexel, he was the Sales Director Asia Pacific of hot runner manufacturer Mold-Masters. Anthony has also been Sales Executive Director China for Ferromatik Milacron. Anthony has a BSc in Mathematics from McMasters University in Canada and is a Hong Kong citizen.

     

Dr. Hartmut TrautDr. Hartmut Traut,
Business Director Europe

 

Dr. Hartmut Traut received his Master of Business Administration and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Siegen (Germany).

Dr. Traut came to Trexel from Thermo Detection, where he was the Sales and Marketing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa supplying chemical and optical detection equipment to the food and beverage industry. This equipment was used to detect foreign materials in refillable PET bottles.

Previously, he was founder and CEO of Centro Kontrollsysteme GmbH, which develops and manufactures advanced control and handling systems. Today Dr. Traut manages Trexel's business activities in Europe since 2002.

     

Yasuhide SunamuraHisashi Tsugawa,
President Trexel Japan Limited

 

Hisashi san has 25 years of progressive management experience in the injection molding industry. Prior to Trexel he was the General Manager of Sato Light Industrial Co. in Qingdao, China, a Japanese Injection Molding company. Hisashi san also served as Managing
Director of the Japanese subsidiary of British company Victrex, the provider of PEEK resin. He has also served over 13 years in progressive application development and sales management roles at GE Plastics Japan. Hisashi a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Yamagata University.
