To determine whether your product application fits with the MuCell capabilities and to learn more about the merits of licensing the MuCell process, Trexel suggests the following licensing & technology deployment process:
Qualification
The following MuCell questionnaire can be filled out and sent to Trexel to learn more about your application. Once we have reviewed your questionnaire and talked to you about your process and product requirements, we can make a joint assessment of the fit between your product application and the MuCell technology.

Feasibility study
Trexel has various development capabilities at its laboratory in Woburn, MA, USA, as well as at the MuCell Development Center at Japan Steel Works, Ltd. in Japan. Various types of studies and sample development programs can be conducted to provide additional information on the merits of the MuCell technology. License agreement
In order to engage in a full-scale product and process development initiative, followed by the microcellular foam product commercialization, a license agreement will be established between the parties.
